Airplanes are the safest means of transportation . You are one million times more likely to die in a motor vehicle accident than  in an aviation disaster.

Your odds of being killed in an air crash are very negligible. Planes today are made to remain in the sky and land safely.

However,  terrorists are making life unsafe and the UN , AU, and the powerful nations  of action in the world like the U.S, UK, Germany, Russia, China, etc . have to start devising a coordinated strategy to crush these fundamentalists and terrorists who want to take over the world.

What would make a big plane fall from the sky or just vanish ? Weather conditions , which are capable of causing a crash, engine failure , pilot error or structural damage are possibilities but because this was a newer plane that just went through thorough maintenance and the fact that the plane was cruising at 37, 000 feet above make a terror attack most likely than the factors above . Cruising is the safest part of a flight.

Another new phenomenon that is becoming more disturbing is planes crashing and the wreckage taking long to be found or not found at all, like the Malaysian jet with hundreds of people that just disappeared from the sky two years ago. Is technology not supposed to accelerate things in this world ? Why do we seem to be on the back foot even in search and rescue or recovery operations ? At first, French officials said they had discovered debris from the plane only to turn around and reverse their statement. Thirty-six hours after the clash, they are now saying again this morning that they have discovered debris. We hope they do not change the information again.

The world, by now, should have become safer. There is enough military power in the industrialized countries to put terrorists and fundamentalists under foot.  What is making it so difficult ? One reason is that they are not united and do not work as a team, thanks to geopolitical rivalries and over ambition.

We are waiting to hear how this latest air disaster involving Egyptair Flight 804 pans out but we must discourage any inclination to live in fear because that is what these terrorists want. Our way of life must not be forced to change because of these evil terrorists and fundamentalists.

God is still in control of our world. We must continue to put our trust in God and enjoying our God-given freedom and liberty.

Did Westerners fool Sir Albert in 1966 , or was it another dumb SLPP politicking that boomeranged ?

Sunday, May 15th, 2016

By  Wilfred Leeroy Kabs-kanu

HERE IS A VERY interesting piece of news I found in the August 18, 1966 issue of the Daily Mail.
Freetown passed a vote of confidence on the PM , SIR ALBERT MARGAI and his SLPP government and assured the Pa that they will support his government in whatever way possible, just 7 months before the epic 1967 General Elections that changed Sierra Leone forever.
 SIR-ALBERT-MARGAI
SIR ALBERT MARGAI
The vote of confidence was signed by politicians, ministers of the gospel, businessmen , youths and people from all walks of life, according to the Daily Mail.
I can imagine how Pa Shaki, S.I. , C.A, Bangali Mansaray, S.B. Kawusu-Konte  and others felt with this development , given that the APC needed to win Freetown to stand any chance in the elections. Did it put fear in them ? Only God knows.
The so-called vote of confidence from the Western Area which the PM  valued and believed so much he handed to the Governor-General, Sir Henry Lightfoot-Boston , turned to be a ruse , because in the elections that followed 7 months later, the then opposition APC completely  swept the votes in Freetown  and the SLPP hardly won a seat there. In fact, it was from the results coming from Freetown that the PM  smelt the rat that his world was completely caving in, under his disbelieving eyes.
daily mail
The SLPP lost the elections  with costs and had to invite the Force Commander Brigadier David Lansana, an in-law of the PM,   to stage a coup, a development that our country is still suffering from today, 49 years after. The 1967 coup and what followed retarded our country in a way that is unimaginable.
Was Sir Albert fooled by the Creoles or was he lying ?
DAILY MAIL 2
As a cub journalist then, writing under the pen name SAM BLUNT at the age of 12, on the same year I entered secondary school , I can sill remember  what happened. The vote of confidence could not have reflected the true picture of what was going on  because it had come to a time in 1966 when the PM was being booed on the streets and even angry women were turning  their backs on him and prostrating . The Creoles had disliked Sir Albert  like the dirt under their shoes because he had been accused of marginalizing them and putting Mendes in all positions in the Civil Service and MDAs.The opposition newspapers, Shekpendeh, Think, Awoko, Scope and We Yone were slaughtering him like somebody without an owner. So from where did the vote of confidence come when de Pa had become so unpopular?
SHAKI
SHAKI : HE WAS NOT A UNIVERSITY GRADUATE BUT WAS SMARTER THAN THE SLPP
One year afer this vote of confidence, the Prime Minister was in detention at Pademba Road Prisons appearing before the Forster Commission of Inquiry which was set up by the NRC military regime to investigate corruption in his government, and he was being booed to the rafters by huge Freetown crowds that gathered outside the hall  every morning to catch a glimpse of him and his ministers being led to the Commission .
Did the Western Area fool the PM ?
If indeed 1966 /67 set the tone for today’s political realities in Sierra Leone, this incident is very important because, fundamentally, it exposes the differences between the SLPP and the APC.
 EMERSON
EMERSON MUNCHING HIS BREAD AND BUTTER IN A SIDE-STREET SHOP IN FREETOWN: IS HIS BREAD BEING BUTTERED BY THE SLPP ?
The SLPP depend on superficial politics  and this tragic flaw has accompanied them to this century.  The APC , on the other hand, depend on pragmatic politics and this is why they always defeat the SLPP at the ballot box.It is difficult for the APC to be fooled this way, because the Red Sun people are pragmatic and to them seeing is believing. They do not build their political ascendancy  on fake politicking and also they do not rely on  fake resolutions .
SLPP-Leaders
SLPP LEADERS : WONDERING WHY THE MUNKUS ARE SMARTER THAN THEM
The APC  believe in going out and winning over people and the opposition strongholds. The APC  believe in making their development projects speak for them. The SLPP  singer , Emerson Bockarie,  refers to the APC  as MUNKUS ,  but the munkus are smarter than the self-styled intelligent ones. The Munkus have ruled the “intelligent”  ones longer and better .The Liberians have a saying that : IF THE HEAD IS NOT SMART, THE BODY SUFFERS .Or what do you think ?Please share your thoughts without cussing or bashing the messenger.

Blind, deaf and dumb zealots : They will not see progress even if you gave them magnifying glasses

Thursday, May 12th, 2016

One thing that is very nauseating about some of our Sierra Leonean people –even those who lay claim to learning – is that they come across as such blind and deaf political zealots that they will not see progress even if you handed them magnifying glasses, ONCE THE PROVIDER OF PROGRESS IS NOT THE SLPP .

And that is because they have chosen to be  deliberately blind and deaf .

At times, it is better to leave them to their wiles. But for the sake of our gullible public, we will not get tired addressing the blindness and deafness to reality .

SOLAR

A  man feigning sleep is the most difficult to wake up. So is the man who has deliberately decided to be blind and deaf .  He will see only what he wants to see. A man convinced against his will is unconvinced still.

That is the mentality  of many Sierra Leoneans and  the bitter and consistent critics of the President Ernest Koroma Government , in spite of all their education;  they only see what they want to see. They only acknowledge what they want to acknowledge.

They see all the socio-economic and political developments in the country since President Koroma came to power in 2007  but prefer to criticize and write off this government all the time as if it is doing nothing for the people. What is wrong is not the act of criticizing the President or his Government. All Presidents and governments do get criticized in a democracy. It is when President Koroma’s critics speak as if he has done nothing or is doing nil for the country that their comments lack substance or  credulity.

They see the state-of -art architecture and beautiful road network rapidly modernizing the face of the nation; they see or hear about the enabling environment President Koroma is creating  to make the agriculture sector the ‘engine’ for socio-economic growth and development through commercial agriculture prioritization via the Smallholder Commercialization Programme (SCP) and the National Sustainable Agricultural Development Programme (NSADP ); they see the one hundred and more buses this government has placed on our roads since it came to power ; they saw the introduction of the Free Health Care Initiative for pregnant women, lactating mothers and children under the age five in April of 2010; they hear the continuous forecast of the IMF and the World Bank about the growth of the Sierra Leone economy ; they see photos of the water supply networks government is weaving in the provinces . They see everything that the government is doing to improve the welfare of the people, but woe alas, when they talk, it is like blind and deaf men awakening from Rip Van Winkle-like slumber in some cave . They have not seen all these socio-economic and political developments. Or so they feign . Shame on them. They would rather post photos of slums and squalor.

Even the tasteless and discredited recording artist, Emerson,  who is a pawn in the hands of failed SLPP  politicians,  could afford to sing that all the government talks about are roads. If Emerson and the uncelebrated detractors of this government are not blind, deaf and dumb, how could  they fail to see all the progress mentioned above ? Who , in his right mind, with his integrity at stake, can say that all this government talks about are roads ? One has to be incurably blind and deaf to say so.

What these blind and deaf arm-chair critics should know is that they can never stop President Koroma from excelling. A man who has set his mind and horizon on excelling will never be stopped by Mickey Mouse-squeaky -voiced  critics.

Yesterday, President Ernest Koroma launched the Energy Revolution, which will ensure that everybody has electricity in Sierra Leone by 2025. As a matter of fact, President Koroma, a man with a proud heart and lofty goals , gave the nation this assurance yesterday : “Government has set concrete goals for 2017. As part of our recovery priorities, we have committed to double access to electricity from 125,000 to 250,000 households and before I leave office, all 149 chiefdoms will enjoy access to energy. ” This is the kind of news every Sierra Leoneans who loves his country likes to hear.

This is another big milestone in the history of our nation. And definitely, it is another monumental achievement by President Ernest Bai Koroma , among his other string of achievements , which include taking paved roads, affordable medical care, water supply and solar lights to the strongholds of the opposition SLPP.

Generations yet unborn will hail President Koroma for what he is doing for our nation.

Let his detractors continue to wallow in their joyless world of blind, deaf and dumb zealots.

Thank God for Press Freedom in Sierra Leone under President Ernest Bai Koroma

Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016

On an important day like this–The World Press Freedom Day–another blessing that Sierra Leoneans should be toasting and celebrating is the unfettered freedom of the press and the free flow of information prevailing in the country under the rule of President Ernest Bai Koroma.

Unlike the unhealthy and dangerous situation that obtained  under previous administrations, the media is very free in Sierra Leone today.

World-Press-Freedom

First of all, Sierra Leoneans today enjoy the right to publish newspapers, magazines, and other printed matter without governmental restriction . In the past, intending publishers and proprietors were either denied that inalienable  right enshrined in the constitution or they were subjected to draconian conditions like  providing thousands of leones or bonded properties as collateral, which they could not afford . Today, under the democratic reign of President Ernest Koroma, all a prospective publisher has to do is register the newspaper with the appropriate authorities, including the Independent Media Commission ( IMC ) for a very modest fee.

newspaper 3

newspaper 6

Secondly, during this Ernest Koroma time in Sierra Leone, our citizens enjoy the right to circulate  news , views and opinions in print and online without censorship by the government. Journalists are free to write or broadcast whatever they wish. This freedom is not found in many African , Western, Eastern or Asian countries.

When you look at what is happening in Africa and around the world, we  must count ourselves blessed for the press freedom and freedom of expression thriving in our country.

We must thank God for having a President and Government who recognize the importance of freedom of speech to nation-building and the creation of common understanding and consensus in governance .

newspaper 4

newspaper 7

newspapers 2

Most of our journalist abuse this right and engage in gutter, yellow, check-book and “Brown Envelope ” journalism . They sensationalize everything, castigate the government, at times for no just cause  and levy damaging and unfounded allegations against the President, his ministers , public officials and even private citizens. The Government is very tolerant to a fault , all because President Koroma remains committed to his pledge to run Sierra Leone in the most democratic fashion imaginable, for which he has won accolades of commendation from the international community, especially the UN.

Furthermore, unlike other countries, no media premise  in Sierra Leone has been subjected to unreasonable searches or seizures .

Best of all, no journalist has ever been imprisoned by the government since President Ernest Bai Koroma came to power in 2007.

We are talking about a country that ten or more years ago was described as the most dangerous place  to practice journalism .

Whatever its detractors say ,  the All People’s Congress ( APC ) Government is a pace-setter in Sierra Leone , not only in pursuing an agressive national development agenda ;  it remains determined to protect free speech ,  freedom of the press  and a vibrant democracy and in so doing enhance the total participation of the people in the decisions that govern their lives.

COCORIOKO  therefore lauds the Government for breaking these new grounds in governance in Sierra Leone and we hope the media do not continue to abuse the privilege to inform, educate and entertain the public as government-media relations is a two-way affair.

The media should respect the trust and faith placed on them by Government to be an active player in the governance process of the country.

55th Independence Anniversary : We have many reasons to be proud of ourselves and our nation

Wednesday, April 27th, 2016

By  KABS KANU :

TODAY is Sierra Leone’s 55th Independence Anniversary and the day will be marked by festivities throughout the nation.

And a time when there is another Sierra Leone flourishing outside  the country, in the diaspora, which is rightly described as the  fifth Province of the country , after the Western, Northern, Southern and Eastern Regions, the occasion will also  be celebrated  in the United States , Britain, Germany, Australia, China and even in African countries like Liberia, Guinea, Ghana, Nigeria, Gambia, Senegal etc.

Though the negativists and the prophets of doom want us to believe that there  is nothing to celebrate, we as a nation do have reasons to be proud of ourselves and our country and reasons to celebrate today .

Yes, there are still many challenges in our nation, despite the best efforts of President Ernest Bai Koroma and our past leaders. Nobody is saying that life is easy. Even in the rich and advanced countries abroad, life is not rosy . To survive, people do not sleep in their homes because they are out there working whole day and night to make ends meet. Things are very difficult and the majority of the people are living one paycheck away from bankruptcy and homelessness. All over the world, this is the situation and  people are agonizing over the abject economic problems, high cost of living, dwindling social services and lack of adequate medical facilities. The whole world is in economic, social and political crises. It is not only Siera Leone that is facing the pinch.

We in Sierra Leone must at least be proud of ourselves and our nation for many reasons . We must be thankful to God for many reasons .

SIERRA LEONE CUP

Firstly, we are a very resilient nation and this resilience will take us to victory  . Unlike many of the countries we want to compare ourselves with, Sierra Leone went through one of the bloodiest and most violent wars in modern history which killed over 50, 000 of our precious people and destroyed our infrastructure . Hardly had we recovered from  the ravages of war when we got struck by the deadly disease, Ebola, which almost wiped out our country. Yet, as a people, we fought back gallantly. We did not go under. We fought back and we won. We must be proud of ourselves that we have the God-given resilience and capacity to overcome our problems. With our kind of resilience and ability to turn around adversities, we will not remain at the bottom forever. Our sun will shine more brightly one day.

Secondly, We must also be proud and thankful to God that whatever our problems, development projects are going on and we are not static. Development is not at a standstill in Sierra Leone. We are doing better than a lot of countries which have become stagnant and are not going anywhere and they never had our kind of problems.

We must thank God that, in spite of all our problems, we are seeing  good signs of socio-economic developments going on in our country. We are seeing good roads being built. We are gradually having a road network system that we must be proud of. We are seeing new clinics and  new schools being built. The government is working on electricity and water supplies and other infrastructural developments. Agricultural projects are being launched. These might not be the immediate bread-and-butter problems some may want to see solved, and we see with some of their points but these development projects would eventually unlock the economic breakthroughs we are seeking. Rome was not built in a day. President Ernest Koroma is doing a marvelous job to maintain the momentum of national development. He cannot provide everything during his reign, but if another President with the same passion, zeal and commitment for progress succeeds him, then we can be sure of continuity in national development and ultimately, other areas will be handled.

Thirdly, we must be thankful to God that some of the negative developments that keep a nation backward and in a perpetual state of chaos are no longer part of us. Democracy , with its attendant features of freedom of the press, freedom of expression and association and free-and-fair elections are prevailing in our country. We have staged two post-war elections that received commendation from the international world. We also have  vibrant civil society, women’s and children groups and we have overcome the political problems of the past that made us one of the most unstable and war-prone countries in the world. With structures now in place to ensure the wholesome functioning of our political and social system, we stand he chance of enjoying peace and tranquility in our land. As a matter of act, Sierra Leone is the model for post -war peace and reconciliation in the whole world.  We are highly respected internationally, as any diplomat will tell you.

Fourthly, our minerals base is not dwindling or depreciating , like other countries. More mineral mining sites are being discovered and there is hope that we could be an oil-producing nation very soon  . Though many think that we are not making optimum use of our mineral resources, there is hope for Sierra Leone , with the continued presence of our diamonds, gold, bauxite, iron ore etc.

All the facts above demonstrate that there is hope in our nation, and that is very important. We are seeing signs that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

It is not all gloom and doom . Let us not allow the power-hungry politicians to discourage and frustrate our minds.

With God on our side, if  we continue to work very hard and remain united and in peace, we will recapture our old glory of being the Beacon of Light of Africa and the Athens of West Africa.

COCORIOKO  wishes you all a happy 55th Independence Anniversary.

Emerson has the mindset of the unprogressive Sierra Leonean who believes he must just criticize and do nothing to help develop his country

Tuesday, April 26th, 2016

By KABS KANU :

Every society has a generous dose of them —Those listless, unappreciative,  disgruntled , forlorn ,  negative individuals sitting in their armchairs whole day doing nothing to help move the world forward , always thinking that the world owes them everything and just criticizing , criticizing, criticizing and finding unnecessary faults with the efforts of those sacrificing to make the world a better place .

The Emersons are the very reason that Sierra Leone has not progressed much as a nation since Independence 55 years ago,  because instead of contributing their quota to national development, all they do whole day is wine, dine and womanize , whine  and grine and complain and trash the endeavours of those who would make their country a strong and progressive nation.

Emerson is a replica of the archetypal Sierra Leonean arm-chair critic, who is full of negativity and backward thinking  and excels at pouring a wet blanket on all the achievements of others. We have so many of them in America, marooned between what they would have loved to be in the U.S. and what they failed to achieve in Sierra Leone. And they are the ones supporting Emerson in his perversity against the President Ernest Koroma government.

EMERSON

EMERSON : THINKS ONLY ABOUT HIMSELF

Emerson’s latest song , MUNKU BUSS PAN MATCHES  sounds better than his previous controversial release  , YESTERDAY BETTEH PASS TIDAY,  but in terms of value it belongs to the same genre of self-depreciating , tasteless and mediocre music the artist has taken delight in now–Politically motivated and designed to discourage the efforts of President Ernest Koroma.

Emerson, the pro-opposition politician masquerading as a rapper,  has made it his avowed duty to always find faults with this All People’s Congress ( APC ) since it came to power in 2007. Nothing that this government has done, including taking socio-economic and political developments to Emerson’s own backyard, his home district and town — has ever pleased him. He places heavy burdens of unrealistic expectations on the shoulders of this government, but what has he done to help alleviate them ?It is the duty of every responsible citizen to help develop his country. National development is not the duty of the President and the Government alone. Every citizen has to provide his/her own quantum and quota of national development. That is how great nations are built.

When Ebola struck Sierra Leone, Emerson did nothing to help raise funds for those who were suffering .  While many Liberian, Guinean and some Sierra Leonean musicians were busy traversing the length and breadth of their country helping to sensitize and educate their people, where was Emerson ?

As far as Emerson is concerned , his duty as a citizen is not to render any patriotic duty to his country. And why not ? The politicians manipulating and using him to sing against the government have never rendered any patriotic duty to our nation. They spent 11 years in power and left no enduring legacy, only the dishonorable distinction for Sierra Leone as the poorest nation on earth as well as the darkest country in the world. Instead of appreciating what President Koroma has done to transform the country and change things or the better , Emerson prefers to be the pawn of discredited and useless politicians who use him as a musical artist to release satiric songs every now and again against this government. What a shame.

But Emerson and those using him to try discouraging President Koroma will never succeed.

President Koroma remains  very steadfast in doing  what it takes to improve the welfare of the people since he came to power—He has built roads, bridges , schools, clinics and magnificent buildings and changed the face of the once stone age Sierra Leone. President Koroma has improving farming and boosted Sierra Leone’s food security program. He is right now putting back all the traffic lights we lost in the city through the war. There are still many challenges but at least, the President is working very hard to address these challenges.

What Emerson’s political masters should have told him is that  President Koroma cannot do everything for Sierra Leone. No President ever did everything for his people, even in the rich and great industrialized countries, but one thing any honest Sierra Leonean will admit is that President Koroma has exceeded expectations. From his achievements, he has proved to be the best President we have ever had in Sierra Leone. If other Presidents after him do the same, Sierra Leone will then become a great nation in the long run. CONTINUITY builds a nation.

We do not expect Emerson to acknowledge this fact because he is a pawn in the hands of unprogressive opposition politicians who have never acknowledged anything the President has ever done.

Enerson’s lyrics did not reflect the true story about what President Koroma has done for our nation. There have been far more than just road construction in Sierra Leone. Every aspect of national development has been touched by the President.

One of the undeniable facts APC  supporters will always relish and remain very proud of  is that their government has done far more than Emerson’s SLPP  masters ever did for Sierra Leone

May be, that is why we the munkus must continue to scratch the matches to provide light for the blind zealots like Emerson who need to see beyond their noses that the APC  is always far better than the SLPP in the art of providing socio-economic and political developments in Sierra Leone.

The Political Pele : Officials say his main focus is to continue to score more goals and improve the welfare of the Sierra Leonean people

A COCORIOKO SPECIAL FEATURE

BY KABS KANU :

Some officials and supporters of the ruling All People’s Congress ( APC ) Government have told COCORIOKO that President Ernest Koroma’s  main focus at the moment is continuing the development projects under the Agenda For Prosperity , designed to improve the welfare of the Sierra Leonean people.

Many of them have said that they are actually not bothered by what people say or sing about the government. According to them, that is part of life and in a democratic society like ours’ in Sierra Leone , it should be expected of journalists and musicians to express their views in art, song, article and whatever form they desire.

The officials and supporters made the remarks in response to questions asked by this newspaper about posts in the social media about a new song by musician, Emerson Bockarie , of the opposition Sierra Leone People’s Party ( SLPP ).  People who have listened to the song  claimed that Mr. Bockarie made scathing insinuations about the government.

Most of the officials disclosed that they were so busy with their jobs that they had not heard any song yet from Emerson. However, they said that they were not concerned if it was true that Emerson had attacked the ruling APC once again in a song.

As a matter of fact, this government relishes the fact that it is the most democratic to have ruled Sierra Leone. The degree of freedom of expression is unprecedented in the annals of the country . Therefore , people are free to express their views about events , whether in song or article and the government has no problems with that, according to the officials.

The officials further said that another thing they know is that every Sierra Leonean relishes  the fact that whatever anybody says about this Government , the fact remains that President Ernest Koroma has done far more than any other President has ever accomplished for the country–and many of them said they were very proud about that achievement .  President Koroma has carried development projects as far afield as  even the strongholds of the opposition SLPP —Emerson’s backyard.

When the APC came to power in 2007, Sierra Leone was the most backward and the poorest country in the world by the standards of the UN Development index. There was no electricity and Sierra Leone was the darkest country in the world .Yet , through the inspiring leadership of President Koroma , Sierra Leone is far better today in the area of availability of electricity supply than it was during the opposition SLPP era.

PREZZO-BALL

THE POLITICAL PELE OF SIERRA LEONE, PRESIDENT ERNEST KOROMA, WITH THE BALL . HIS FOCUS IS HOW TO SCORE MORE GOALS , DEVELOP THE COUNTRY AND IMPROVE THE WELFARE OF THE PEOPLE.

When the APC won democratic elections in 2007 and handled the reins of this country, Sierra Leone had very bad and dangerous roads and antidulivian architecture , for which foreigners mocked us as a stone age country. But in only eight years, President Koroma has transformed the whole country with beautiful roads and impressive architecture.

The President has been busy improving the quality of life of the Sierra Leone an people by providing solar lights for towns and villages and building schools, hospitals and clinics. The Government has also been working strenuously to make Sierra Leone self-sufficient in food production .

Sierra Leone had one of the fastest growing economies in the world , according to the World Bank and the IMF, before Ebola struck the country , two years ago.

The officials and party stalwarts therefore said that they were very proud of the achievements of President Ernest Bai Koroma and will continue to concentrate on how best the government will continue its development agenda to improve the welfare of the people.

APC officials and stalwarts are also convinced that given the momentum of the government’s development drive, the APC will always win elections in Sierra Leone because the people now know that it is only when the APC is in power in Sierra Leone that they see socio-economic and political progress .

In 2012, Emerson released a song , YESTERDAY BETTEH PASS TIDAY ,  before crucial Presidential and Legislative Elections, but the APC  still went on to win the elections by a landslide. “All people want to see is development in the country. Once that is done, they know what to do during elections,”  one official remarked.

The officials admitted that there were still daunting challenges in Sierra Leone but the good thing is that the government is not resting on its oars and  is doing everything within its power and resources to address these challenges.

The fact that people buy newspapers and songs about government does not necessarily mean they will listen to them when elections come. During the 2012 elections, satiric songs were released against the Government but the APC still triumphed . And the party is certain to win again in 2018 because they know that only the APC  has the capacity to develop Sierra Leone.

About claims that about 1,000 people have already bought the song, one official quipped : “Of course, people will buy satiric songs. Don’t we all love seeing a naked, mad man dancing in the market place ? “, the official asked  .”We in the APC  are more concerned about development , not buying and listening to songs like the SLPP. We are too busy working for the people. ”
